From Chef to Content Creator: Adam Witt’s Journey and His Unique Musubi Recipe

Chef Adam Witt turned his hobby of creating food videos into a full-time job in 2021, appreciating the blending of life and work. He shares his unique take on a Hawaiian classic, Musubi that traditionally uses Spam, but Witt opts for teriyaki-flavored beef short ribs.

Once a private chef in Chicago, Adam Witt’s passion for food and videography propelled him into becoming a full-time content creator since 2021. Witt values the fusion of life and work that this unusual career path entails.

His latest video introduces a distinct take on a traditional Hawaiian dish called Musubi, usually crafted with canned lunch meat and rice wrapped in seaweed. In Witt’s version, he offers a twist using teriyaki-flavored beef short ribs instead of Spam. The dish is an homage to the American premium quality beef, combined with a high-quality short rib to create a unique variant of a Hawaiian classic.

For executing the recipe, any tender cut meat would work as effectively as beef short rib. If a tougher meat is used, it has to be cooked slowly to soften and then glazed with sauce before being placed atop the Musubi.

Witt relishes in the joy of creating visually stunning food videos and appreciates it when viewers replicate his recipes. At the end, though, he emphasizes that whether viewers cook his dishes is totally their choice.

The recipe for Teriyaki Short Rib Musubi requires ingredients like American beef short ribs, soy sauce, mirin, onion, garlic, ginger, luncheon meat, teriyaki sauce, cooked white rice, Furikake, toasted sesame oil, nori sheets, kosher salt, and black pepper. The recipe, owned by Adam Witt, is shared courtesy of ‘Beef, It’s What’s for Dinner’, with Fox News Digital.
