Standard Chartered Hong Kong’s Priority Private is transforming the banking experience by expanding its wealth solutions and lifestyle offerings. According to Eliza Law, managing director and head of affluent segment and distribution, the goal is to continuously innovate for both current clients and their future generations.
The bank recently marked the fifth anniversary of Priority Private by launching a Masters Series of exclusive events that feature experts discussing various specialized themes such as lifestyle, education, health, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Among the noteworthy events were a food pairing and wine tasting session led by actress-turned-winemaker Bernice Liu, and an inspiring session with former Olympic cyclist Sarah Lee, which resonated deeply with the bank’s clientele.
The Masters Series also includes an International Golf Series, allowing clients to participate in tournaments across major Asian cities. Furthermore, the bank focuses on nurturing the younger generations of its Priority Private customers through initiatives like the Young Entrepreneur programme in collaboration with INSEAD. This program, held in Singapore, provided over 50 participants with hands-on entrepreneurial training guided by industry experts.
Addressing the increasing affluent client base, Standard Chartered plans to open its fifth wealth management center in Hong Kong soon, further enhancing its offerings for Priority Private clients.
