It is unclear if Apple introduced any changes with the re-released developer beta beyond bug fixes. The Cupertino company may have made slight tweaks to the original release. The update comes shortly after the first iOS 26 Beta 4 was made available to developers.
iOS 26 Beta 4 introduced several key changes from the third beta, such as adjustments to UI elements and enabling notification summaries for News and Entertainment. Changes to the Camera app icon and Call Screening options were also made. The update improved scrolling through the Notification Centre by enhancing legibility.
Apple is expected to launch iOS 26 along with the iPhone 17 series this year, as first showcased during WWDC 2025. While the company has not confirmed the phone launches, leaks about their specifications have already surfaced online.
