Dozens of peacocks and peahens that roamed a historic Art Deco hotel in Walnut Grove, California, have gone missing, with suspicions of theft. A witness reported observing the birds being taken by two individuals. Only a few birds remained, causing distress among the hotel staff. The birds, valued at thousands of dollars each, had become a beloved part of the hotel’s ambiance over the years.
