The 2025 Global Encounters Festival, held in Dubai from July 20-27, is a unique event that brings together over 4,000 young artists and athletes from more than 50 countries. It aims to celebrate creativity, sportsmanship, and community values such as unity and leadership. This festival serves as a platform for young Ismailis to showcase their talents in arts and sports, fostering a sense of togetherness and cross-cultural exchange. The event includes art exhibitions, music and theatre performances, as well as sports tournaments spanning 18 different games, promoting teamwork and camaraderie. It signifies a significant milestone as it merges Jubilee Arts and Jubilee Games into a single global gathering, underscoring the importance of inclusion, sustainability, and environmental awareness.
